We’re looking for Care & support workers to join our caring,
supportive team in Deal.
Overview of Role:
We have a great opportunity for an experienced support
worker, to support with a 26-year-old woman in Deal on a 2-1 basis.
She currently lives with her mother and loves to go to charity
shops, go out for lunch and day trips out on the bus. You will be required to attend
and accompany her to day centres & medical appointments whilst also prompting
to get dressed & tidy up. You will be required to give her lots of
reassurance and guidance with daily tasks.
The individual has an epilepsy diagnosed and has
absent and drop seizures. She displays both physical and verbal
behaviours, which are managed through positive behaviour strategies, reassurance
and good communication. We provide specialist PBS training.
Shift Pattern:

Monday to Sunday 08:00 to 20:00 or
20:00 to 08:00
·
Alternate Weekends is mandatory
