Job Description

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our caring team in Hastings, supporting adults aged 18 and over with complex physical disabilities and learning needs within a residential care setting.

Our home supports 15 residents, providing person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

The Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily routines, personal care, emotional wellbeing, and social activities. You will work closely with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure each resident receives high-quality, individualised support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support with dignity and respect
  • Assisting residents with mobility, meals, medication, and daily living activities
  • Supporting individuals with complex physical and learning disabilities
  • Encouraging independence, communication, and social inclusion
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
  • Promoting safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing at all times
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided
