Job Description

We are recruiting a Residential Care Practitioner to support children and young people in a safe, nurturing residential setting. You will work as part of a dedicated team, providing consistent care, positive role modelling, and support to help young people develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong, professional relationships with children and young people

  • Support emotional, behavioural, educational, and health needs

  • Promote safeguarding, equality, and positive behaviour support

  • Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and daily records

  • Work on a rota including nights, weekends, and bank holidays

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards)

  • A caring, resilient, and professional approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and high-quality care
