Location: Faversham
Salary: £31,500 per annum

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Residential Support Worker (RSW) to join a Therapeutic Children’s Service, supporting children and teenagers with complex behaviours.

About the Role:

As an RSW, you’ll work closely with a small team in a residential setting, providing consistent care, emotional support, and structure to young people who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. You’ll help them develop life skills, build confidence, and move toward a more positive future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build trusting, supportive relationships with young people
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
• Support children and teens in managing challenging behaviours
• Help young people develop emotional resilience and life skills
• Work collaboratively with therapists, social workers, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young people or in a residential care setting (preferred)
• Compassion, patience, and emotional resilience
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
