Role: Registered Manager
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week
Location: Romney Marsh, Kent

About the Service

Homeleigh Farm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead the service on a full-time basis. The service is located in a semi-rural area of Romney Marsh, Kent, set within four acres of countryside and supporting six male adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting.

Job Purpose

As the CQC Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and performance of the service. You will ensure the home operates safely, effectively, and in full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation, while delivering outstanding care and support to the people who live there.

You will lead a compassionate and skilled team, oversee care planning, manage budgets, maintain quality standards, and create a positive, inclusive culture focused on recovery, development, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the service

  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, policies, and procedures

  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and reviews

  • Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources effectively

  • Support and develop staff through supervision, appraisal, and training

  • Promote person-centred care, dignity, and independence

  • Work collaboratively with external professionals and stakeholders

  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and quality assurance processes are embedded

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or evidence of working towards this

  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities

  • Experience managing or supporting individuals with challenging behaviours (desirable)

  • Strong leadership, resilience, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

  • A compassionate, empathetic, and values-driven approach
