40We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager for our Ofsted registered Children's Home. The Deputy Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional care for the children and young people under our supervision.

Support to Registered Manager:

Collaborate closely with the Registered
Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Children's Home.
- Act as the Registered Manager in their absence and assist in the overall management of the home.

Compliance and Regulation:

Assist in maintaining full compliance with all
Ofsted regulations and standards.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.

Child-Centred Care:

Contribute to the development and
implementation of individual care plans and risk assessments for each child.
- Build positive relationships with children, their families, and relevant stakeholders, offering support and guidance.

Staff Management:

Supervise and support staff members, providing
leadership, guidance and feedback as needed, to ensure that they provide the
best possible care and support to the children.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and performance management processes.

Quality Assurance:

Participate in monitoring and evaluating the
quality of care provided, recommending improvements.
- Help implement quality assurance systems and practices to maintain high standards.

Safeguarding and Risk Management:

Assist in the development and implementation
of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Support incident management and resolution, ensuring the safety of the children.

Financial Oversight:

Collaborate with the Registered Manager in
managing the budget efficiently and responsibly.
- Contribute to financial reporting and expenditure control in line with organisational guidelines.
