About the Role:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced support worker, to support with a 26-year-old woman in Deal on a 2-1 basis.

She currently lives with her mother and loves to go to charity shops, go out for lunch and day trips out on the bus. You will be required to attend and accompany her to day centres & medical appointments whilst also prompting to get dressed & tidy up. You will be required to give her lots of reassurance and guidance with daily tasks.

The individual has been diagnosed with epilepsy and has absent and drop seizures. She can display both physical and verbal behaviours, but these can be managed and avoided with reassurance and good communication.

Shifts Pattern:

We have shifts available Monday to Sunday 08:00 to 20:00 and 20:00 to 08:00.


What we need from you:

·         Right to work in the UK, with documentation to confirm this

·         At least 3 months of care experience, preferably with experience in supporting individuals with Behaviours that Challenge

·         A full UK driving license and access to a car (preferred)

·         A minimum availability of 24 hours per week

·         Strong communication skills, including regular communication with the office team
